About Finiti

What is Finiti?

Finiti is a compliance layer for capital markets filings. Before a filing goes to a regulator, Finiti reconciles every number, ties each statement to its source document, checks the filing against the applicable disclosure rules, and records what it checked in a versioned trail.

It is built for the lean legal, compliance and reporting teams at listed companies, and for the law firms that advise them. Finiti helps those teams file disclosure that is accurate, consistent and stronger in the market; work with their reporting colleagues on the same draft in less time; and roll forward and benchmark filings with ease.

Who is Finiti for?

Finiti is for the people who personally carry disclosure risk: general counsel, compliance officers, and the reporting and investor relations teams at listed companies, and the capital markets partners and associates at the law firms that advise them.

It is designed in particular for issuers that carry the same filing obligations as much larger companies without a full disclosure committee, including foreign private issuers, dual-listed companies and recent IPOs.

Which filings and markets does Finiti cover?

Finiti covers US and Hong Kong filings in one workspace: US SEC filings, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K and 20-F, and Hong Kong filings under the HKEX Listing Rules. It has multilingual support for drafting and review. Coverage for the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) and the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) is coming.

What Finiti checks

Can AI review a 10-K or 20-F before it is filed?

Yes, for the mechanical layer of the review. Finiti checks that each number agrees everywhere it appears, that cross-references point to the right place, that narrative statements are supported by source documents, and that each required disclosure item is addressed.

Finiti keeps its rules current: Regulation S-K, the SEC's Compliance and Disclosure Interpretations (C&DIs) and other regulatory guidance are refreshed and mapped to each disclosure item. It then applies those rules to the facts of your company, drawn from your prior filings and your own documents, rather than to a generic issuer.

Every finding cites the page and section it relies on. Judgment calls, such as materiality and how to word a sensitive disclosure, stay with your team.

Can tick-and-tie be automated?

Yes. Tick-and-tie is the check that every figure and statement in a filing matches its support. Finiti reconciles each number across the document, ties narrative statements to their supporting source in your document vault, lists any support that is still outstanding, and logs what was checked, against which version, and when.

Your team reviews the inconsistencies Finiti flags instead of re-checking every figure by hand.

How does Finiti check a filing against Regulation S-K?

Finiti reads the draft against the rules that apply to the form: Regulation S-K items, SEC staff guidance and Compliance and Disclosure Interpretations (C&DIs), and patterns in SEC comment letters. It flags missing or thin disclosure and cites the rule, page and section behind each flag.

For Hong Kong issuers, the same check runs against the HKEX Listing Rules. It is the line-by-line review your team runs by hand today, done in minutes. Background: What is Regulation S-K.

How can we benchmark our risk factors against peers?

Finiti compares your disclosure paragraph by paragraph against your peers' filings and market practice, and shows where your language is standard, thin, inconsistent or novel. For risk factors, that shows which risks your peers disclose that you do not, and where your wording is boilerplate.

Can Finiti draft disclosure?

Yes. Finiti builds first drafts from your own documents, prior filings and relevant precedent, and cites the source for every suggestion. It does not start from a generic template, so your team edits with judgment instead of rebuilding from scratch.

Does Finiti work in Microsoft Word?

Yes. Finiti works inside Microsoft Word with the documents you already have, and exports findings as marked-up Word redlines and Excel matrices. Finiti is integrated with Workiva and SharePoint, works alongside iManage and Microsoft Office, and other integrations are available on request.

What is the Finiti email agent?

Finn is Finiti's email agent: a colleague that never sleeps. With email and folder access enabled, which depends on your deployment, Finn reads your email and folder context, so it can tell you which draft is the latest, who sent the latest markup or what changed this week. Email Finn a request, or forward a marked-up draft from opposing counsel, a thread of internal comments or a document to check, and the finished work comes back to your inbox: comments consolidated, a clean redline, language refined, and every change cited. When a new markup arrives, Finn can prepare the redline, comment table and supporting documents before you ask. Finn has multilingual support, and no login or prompting is needed.

Accuracy and professional responsibility

How do I know the output is accurate? AI tools hallucinate.

Every Finiti finding cites the page and section of its source (the filing, the rule or the document in your vault), and every check leaves a versioned record of what was reviewed, against what, and when. You verify the trail, not the claim.

ABA Formal Opinion 512 warns that uncritical reliance on AI output without independent verification can lead to inaccurate advice. The trail is what makes that verification practical.

Does ABA Formal Opinion 512 allow lawyers to use AI for disclosure work?

Yes, with conditions. ABA Formal Opinion 512 (July 29, 2024) says lawyers may use generative AI if they understand the tool's capabilities and limits, protect client confidences, verify the output, supervise its use and bill fairly.

It requires a client's informed consent before information relating to the representation goes into a self-learning AI tool, and says general boilerplate in an engagement letter is not enough. Finiti's citations and audit trail support the verification and supervision duties. Check your own jurisdiction's guidance as well.

Does using an AI tool waive attorney-client privilege?

Not automatically, but the tool's terms and how it is used matter. In United States v. Heppner (S.D.N.Y., February 2026), Judge Rakoff held that a defendant's exchanges with a consumer AI chatbot were not privileged: the platform's terms allowed disclosure of user data, and he used it on his own initiative rather than at counsel's direction.

The court left open how privilege applies to tools used at counsel's direction under confidentiality terms. Finiti is an enterprise platform in which each customer's data is isolated from every other customer's. Related: You cannot blame the AI.

Who is responsible for a filing that was reviewed with AI?

The same people as before. The officers who sign and certify the filing (for example, under Sarbanes-Oxley Section 302) and the counsel who advise on it remain responsible for its content. Using a review tool does not shift that responsibility.

Finiti is built for that reality: it gives the people who sign a documented record of what was checked and who approved the final language.

Does Finiti replace lawyers?

No. It protects their time. Reconciling numbers, checking cross-references and running line-by-line form checks never required legal judgment; they required attention and a record. Finiti takes that mechanical layer so your lawyers spend their hours on interpretation, strategy and risk, the work that actually requires them.

Security and confidentiality

Our filings contain MNPI. Is our data safe?

Finiti runs on Microsoft Azure. Each customer's data is logically isolated and encrypted with AES-256 at rest and TLS 1.2 or higher in transit, and sign-in runs through your own single sign-on. Finiti is ISO 27001 certified, and the model provider processes your documents under a zero-data-retention agreement.

Controls, sub-processors and the documents your security team will ask for are in the Trust Center.

Where is our data stored?

The managed service runs on Microsoft Azure in the United States. If your data must stay in a particular region or inside your own infrastructure, Finiti can be deployed in your own cloud tenant in the region you choose, or on-premises.

Does Finiti support SSO, MFA and our security review?

Yes. Finiti supports single sign-on through your identity provider, with multi-factor authentication enforced there. Permissions are enforced in the application, and matter-level roles are in development. We also complete law firm and company security questionnaires as part of onboarding.

Comparisons and getting started

How is Finiti different from ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot?

General-purpose AI generates plausible language from public text and asks you to trust the answer. Finiti works from your own documents and the applicable rulebook, cites every conclusion to its source, and keeps a versioned record of what was checked.

It runs specific checks on a filing (reconciliation, form check, benchmarking) rather than answering open-ended prompts. See the full comparison.

How is Finiti different from a junior associate?

An associate brings judgment; Finiti brings complete coverage and a record. Finiti checks every number, cross-reference and required disclosure item in the filing in minutes, with the same care on page 180 of a 10-K as on page 1, and logs what it checked against which source and which version.

It does not exercise legal judgment: deciding what is material, framing a sensitive disclosure or advising the client stays with your lawyers. Finiti does the first pass, so associates spend their hours reviewing its findings and on the work that needs a lawyer.

How is Finiti different from Workiva or Intelligize?

Finiti integrates with Workiva and Intelligize. Workiva holds your filing data and Intelligize holds your research; Finiti is the workflow layer on top of them, where the work gets done.

For example: take a draft 10-K from Workiva, tie every figure to its source, run the Regulation S-K form check and send back a redline. Take the precedent you found in Intelligize and draft your own disclosure from it, cited to your documents. Benchmark your risk factors against the peers you were researching and get a list of gaps, not a reading list. See the full comparison.

How much does Finiti cost?

The Finiti Team plan costs US$325 per seat per month: a flat fee with no token or overage charges. Enterprise pricing depends on your deployment requirements, such as on-premises hosting, additional modules and feature configuration. You can start with a free 14-day trial on your own filing. See pricing and the full comparison.

Can we try Finiti on our own filings first?

Yes. Finiti offers a free 14-day trial. Run it on your most recent filing, typically the form check or verification, and judge the output against work your team has already done. You will know within one filing whether it earns a place in your process. Start your free trial.
